PERSECUTION?

Which type of Christianity is worth persecution? Which of the category are you? Would you consider a trouble free Christian life worth a living?

The comfort zone ministry is what many believers crave for today. Working in the church office building may never attract much attacks than meeting the rugged and vilest sinners on the street!

Taking a close look at the lifestyle and ministry of our Lord Jesus can tell which category of ministry many believers are into. He was always on the move, while many today are stagnant!
Hear the words of the Lord;

"And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me. He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it."
(Matthew 10:38-39)

A DIVERSIONARY OPTION

It takes a bold decision to change direction, especially when you are used to the common tracks. You may be bound tight to a particular thing and never desiring new ways.

The most popular ways may seem appealing to your tastes now but their ends are usually very disastrous. This could be a set trap by the devil.

With this awareness, prayerfully consider a diversionary option; faith in God and His Word can lead to the expected destination.

"Turn away mine eyes from beholding vanity; and quicken thou me in thy way." (Psalms 119:37)

MOSLEMS TURNING CHRISTIANS

A LETTER FROM A MISSIONARY FRIEND...
Since the rise of ISIS and other warring factions in Syria, an estimated two million Syrians have fled to Lebanon where they now live as refugees. Having experienced the brutalities perpetrated by Jihadists, great numbers of refugees have become totally disillusioned with Islam and are open to hearing the Gospel. An unprecedented opportunity currently exists to reach these precious souls. 

A well-respected ministry to refugees, Horizons International, is seeing a great many refugees in Lebanon turning to Christ; a significant number of whom have previously encountered Jesus in a vision or dream and are eagerly seeking more information about Him. 

What is needed now is God’s Word – but because only a third of Syrian refugees are literate, MegaVoice and a growing number of ministries are partnering to distribute 100,000 solar audio Bibles. By God’s grace, a million refugees could be reached with the Good News in the coming months. By having a solar audio Bible of their own, Christian refugees will be built up in their faith and others will hear about the Lord Jesus for the first time. Please pray for us as we continue looking for more ministry partners and the financial resources needed to carry out this God-given task.

BACK TO GOD'S ORIGINALITY

There is nothing so glorious in my life like the beauty of being aware of God's wisdom and knowledge through His Spirit in Christ our Lord! Without this, people had continued in wrong pursuits of life!

Ignorance of God is total depravity and darkness! One can be highly intelligent in any secular discipline, but without God that soul is still in a disgraceful dilemma.

Unfortunately, the church had contributed in keeping millions in constant nightmares. Why? Instead of teaching the Truth, world's orientations had suggested several competitive routines!

If God's wisdom and knowledge were embraced seriously, the church would have changed the world according to His eternal purpose long before now!

It is never too late. We can be restored to God's originality by pure engagement to radical FAITH that can move mountains.

Even without schools, hospitals, businesses etc of human abilities, the world can be restored to God's originality by the power of the Holy Spirit in Christ our Lord and still operate successfully! 

(Matthew 6:33)

BE YOUR BROTHERS' KEEPER'S

On my recent mission mandate trip, I noticed the ingratitude of the church, if at all it is the church of Christ Jesus.

How can churches in one town keep on beautifying structures, while a nearby church building remains uncompleted?

It is not godly to think that you are better than others when you can not help your neighbor. Is it not the same God, Christ, Spirit and Bible that we preach?

If God had blessed you, all you must do is bless others. Let's be a blessing to the Evangelical Love Ministry, Jekadafari, Jalingo in Taraba State.

Let's get this church building completed. Let's be our brothers keeper in Jesus Name Amen!

MISSION MANDATE 2017 BEYOND

Taking Some time among the Mumuyes

This recent Mandate tour started about a week ago. We  decided to say a bit of the last two days of it.

On reaching Jalingo, the capital city of Taraba State, we were welcomed and hosted by our faithful associate, Evangelist Solomon Yarima the Overseer of the Evangelical Love Ministry.
After we had taken some time of prayer together, we were prompted by the Holy Spirit to stay here until our faith to execute the continuity of two major projects is done.

We are soliciting for financial support as one is led by the Lord towards a church building which happens to represent the Headquarters of the Ministry. You may wish to request for the Boiling Point Gospel Centre account details for this intention please!

WE Appreciate the support of a lady from Gombe which enabled us got the second project; a major repair of the ministry's vehicle which started today on the 7th day of this Mandate.

From Numan we headed for Yola where we spent some time in different locations through Mubi road; we then returned to Ngorore where we headed through Mayobelwa to Taraba State.

We glorify God Almighty for so many encouraging responses. The Jesus Film, Audio Bible CDs, the Treasure Bible, my Book "Everyday with the Holy Spirit" and the booklets of the gospel of John were liberally distributed. as led by God's Spirit. 

From Mayobelwa we headed for Zing where we spent some time with the Mumuye roadside communities before we got to Jalingo. Friends, Thank you for your prayers and various supports.

IN KEEPING WITH THE 2017 MANDATE

Brethren, Covenant Greetings, In keeping with our 2017 and beyond mandate, we have got another divinely prompted demanding tour to some unreached places in Plateau, Bauchi and Taraba/Adamawa States any moment from now till August.

LED BY THE HOLY SPIRIT

To be led by the Holy Spirit is not only the standard but the proof of our Christian genuineness. Christianity in many circles today had been regarded as nothing but a religious assertion accompanied with a great deal of mental accent or intonation; with nothing both spiritual and scriptural to show for it! This had caused a total disregard and breakdown to the law of the Spirit; the right of the Spirit of the Lord to fully, genuinely and credibly operate or function in the church.
Jn 16:13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak… KJV
John 16:13 But when the Spirit of truth comes, he will lead you into all truth. He will not speak his own words, but he will speak only what he hears … NCV

“Then was Jesus led up of the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil.”  (Mt 4:1)
Our Lord Jesus Christ the Author and Finisher of our faith taught us by example. He allowed Himself to be led by the Holy Spirit. When the Holy Spirit is permitted to take the lead in our lives and ministries, this ensue our total submission to His voice; where He leads we will follow. He led Jesus into the wilderness to be tempted; to be tried; to be questioned; to be offended; His integrity, genuineness and authenticity to pass through the refining fire. Many a trial we have avoided not knowing it had been the Holy Spirit’s supervision intended to carry us to the next altitude of God’s glory in our lives and ministry.  When our focus in ministry in unquestionable, the desire to be led by the Lord’s Spirit will always be craving delight of our lives.

Led by the Holy Spirit

Prayer for Instant Freedom

We declare by faith, the liberty of many who might have been trapped by this demonic whoredom of living a disgraceful lifestyle; in drug addiction, alcohol, prostitution, cheating, lying, stealing, killing and destruction of all kinds. We set them free from every trace of darkness and confusion.

We declare them free so that they can have the life that brightens their hope now and forever. Amen! Now, we suggest to the reader to pray the prayer below:
Oh Lord, I confess my faith in Christ Jesus as my Lord and Saviour, and by the power of His Spirit and His Blood, I set myself free from all demonic bondages of self-seeking gratification.

I know my body is the temple of God, where you promise to dwell in by your Spirit. I refuse to allow the carnality spirits to rule over me. I hand over my entire existence into your hands. From now henceforth; help me to live a decent life; preserving my entire life and body only for your glory and honour in Jesus name. Amen!

We believe you can be made a kingdom citizen and the disciple of the Lord Jesus supernaturally wherever you are, in Jesus name. Amen!

Divine Opportunities

All we need to do is forego or eliminate all natural struggles and give God a chance. There are ample opportunities from the kingdom inheritance which we can tap from. There is no motivational inspirer outside God that can lift up our fortunes and expand our destiny scopes and hopes.

Jesus said, “Come to me, all who are tired from carrying heavy loads, and I will give you rest. Place my yoke over your shoulders, and learn from me, because I am gentle and humble. Then you will find rest for yourselves because my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” [Mt 11:28-30 (GW)] 

This is where one can discover exactly what is truly needed from above for earthly distinct gains. “And Jesus answered and said unto her, Martha, Martha, thou art careful and troubled about many things:  But one thing is needful: and Mary hath chosen that good part, which shall not be taken away from her.” (Lk 10:41)

The Martha and Mary contrast clearly explains how decisive one can resolve to seek the will of God or pursue vain or unprofitable ventures in life. But Mary’s posture remains unbeatable as it was clearly commended by the Master; “But one thing is needful: and Mary hath chosen that good part, which shall not be taken away from her.” The choice to hang around or close to Jesus can handle every situation of our lives.

TRUE SPIRITUAL OPTIONS

An Ought for Spiritual Lifestyle

Carnality on stage is the human nature; the flesh at profuse display! And it is enmity with God.  “For the sinful nature is always hostile to God. It never did obey God’s laws, and it never will. That’s why those who are still under the control of their sinful nature can never please God.” (Rom. 8:7-8) NLT

Of recent, a beauty outfit was confronted because of the kind of half-naked dresses on display. A beer parlour was likewise confronted for being death traps in business. The reactions were unfavourable. The enemy tells them,
‘Money is made so fast this way…’ Hmn!

The carnal mentality keeps its victims in the captivity of feeding on the food of human nature; seeking pleasure on lusting and abiding in the lines of depravity; a false belief of living for and to please the flesh. These helpless victims of carnality do not see beyond themselves and so they end up becoming selfish consumers and not able to produce anything good for themselves let alone the society.

This kind of life needs total overhaul by divine gracious refurbishing. Let us pass on these wise sayings to our readers. Recognition and true identity is only found by faith in Christ. Although the devil is fighting this truth, but there is never a substitute to it.

Take a close look at the young Bible characters in the persons of Joseph (Gen 37-50), David (1Sam 17), Daniel (chs1-7), Esther (chs1-8), and especially the lifestyle and ministry of Jesus Christ.  One cannot emulate these characters by the help and comfort of the Holy Spirit and in the name of Jesus without receiving the abundant life which enlightens every aspect of human existence.

You cannot accept the indwelling Christ and lack what to say and do. In Christ, we can overcome inferiority phobia or obsession; in Christ we can put on a new posture; not disguising indecently or offensively. In Christ Jesus, we can see beyond ordinary living, we can actually live by faith and not by sight.

KICK SATAN OUT

The devil had taken the dreaded advantage of various weaknesses in vessels of humanity (both male and female) to make them lose sight of God’s purpose for them. That is why the word of God does not make any meaning to their existing situation. Many of them continue to struggle in the arena of falsehood as long as Satan can keep them bound.

They will try everything fashionably deceptive; dressing dude, men looking famine (and yet struggling to cope with the real man within), ladies acting the masculine (and yet frightened by their inward weakness), and a host of what adults and normal people would consider distasteful or revolting.

So, whenever we see people appearing partially nude; wearing tight clothes; exposing every line of their natural physique, it is an expression of life deeply rooted in fear, inner inferiority and total fussy corruptness. This is emptiness, chaos, absolute darkness, and a very vast vacuum in many victimized hearts.

THE EARTH’S DEVASTATION

While praying interceding for the devastation upon the creation of God especially the human race; by the Spirit of God, I discovered that the human being had been at war against himself over decades; unable to defend and protect himself and  his place of abode!

One does not need the expertise of man in order to figure out what had been responsible for the deliberate demolishing of the earth by its inhabitants. Mankind in the bid to create the world of their kind and choice decided to ignore the Creator God Almighty and His eternal plan for the world.

So human beings got engaged on all sorts of inventions from ancient to modern civilizations. The Tower of Babel in the Bible is one of the obvious rebellion of the humans against God Almighty in Genesis 11: 4,5. God did not allow the foolishness to be carried out for obvious reasons of preserving His creation.

What had become of planet earth today is nothing but a ball surrounded by various kinds of infirmities. It is like a human body infested by ulcers, cancers, wounds and bruises! No wonder, in the realm of the Spirit a Bible writer saw it declared;        

“Lift up your eyes to the heavens, And look on the earth beneath. For the heavens will vanish away like smoke, The earth will grow old like a garment, And those who dwell in it will die in like manner; But My salvation will be forever, And My righteousness will not be abolished.” (Isa 51:6)  NKJV   

Man had been using the wicked tools of his inventions to brutalize and damage God’s creation. The torments of the ground beyond the recommended tilling transcends to bulldozing into deep excavations to drilling deep down the earth.

The rocks blasted, plants crapped, trees chopped down, animals killed, rivers or world of waters drained etc! Even the human beings themselves lost the consciousness of the love of being their brother’s keeper; they no longer value human life!

GLORY BE TO GOD! The children of the Most High God had been prepared as the rescue army according to Romans 8:19-21.

GOD'S MISSION FOR THE AFIZERE

“The duty and difficulty of self-denial: To row against the tide of one’s inclinations, to stem the rapid current of one’s appetites and affections, to struggle against the violent motions of our will, and to wrestle with the opposition of our contending faculties; this is an employment that is laborious and uneasy, this is a performance that we pay dearly for; and the reward of such a warfare will certainly be proportionable to the hardships and difficulties with which we have 

The Prophetic Message for Afizere People 

Ps 22:22 – “I will declare thy name unto my brethren: in the midst of the congregation will I praise thee.” Every serious minded, Spirit-filled and obedient servant of God must always be concerned for his own people, tribe, community and nation. In the place of prayer, the Lord ministered to me a weighty heart over my people; the Afizere of Jos East Local Government Area in Plateau State, Nigeria.

An appointed time has come for God to do a new thing among my people. God had remembered His people even though they had been rejected and despised for so long. They had also regarded themselves unworthy and inferior for so long. They had lacked inner capacity to rise above fear and intimidation. They had resorted to self-accusation and given in to both internal and external torments and punishment. Many had ruled them out from being normal people…

My people, Harken to the prophecy of Isaiah 52. This is the word of God for the Izere Nation. Read it and ask God for deep insight into His revealed message for you as an Izere person! Follow the fulfillment of the word with prayerful keenness!

God had raised a prophet among you who is setting the pace in the realm of the spirit; from the God of heaven above. You shall listen to what he has to tell you. Your journey into divine destiny has reached the point of propagation; announce it at roof tops!

The Afizere will soon be given a pattern of rulership which is strictly godly; no longer subject to the standards of the heathen; a kingship that is completely devoid of the Hausa/Fulani influence; a leadership institution and style that will defy all the modern day political methods of selection. You shall have a leader who will draw all his people to God supernaturally. 

All thorns and thistles around you shall be totally burnt to ashes; and all the chaff in your midst shall be completely swept away.  Anything away from this divine arrangement will be rejected by the people. The Lord has spoken. Hallelujah!!!

FREEDOM FROM SPIRITUAL FRAUDS

God is on strange work, you don't have to buy anointing oil, water, sticker or any spiritual item from anybody.

These items can be found in your homes and God Almighty is right there to bless them when you speak the word of God to them.

They will do what God had promised to do for you by the power of the Holy Ghost in Jesus Name...

Nobody has the monopoly of God. Apply your faith and share your testimonies to the glory of God in Jesus Mighty Name...
(Heb 8:10-13)

OVERCOME EVIL WITH GOOD

It is very essential at this point of our Christian history of trials and temptations to address the issues surrounding our responses related to definite act of cruelty, killings and wanton destruction of properties.

Christianity is simply one of those religions; it is lined up with all other religious bodies; you can hardly notice the difference until it is tried by the heating of the burning furnace; the incessant upheavals which interrupts our comfort zones and peaceful coexistence. Gal. 6:9 And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.
The standards of all religious prepositions are guided by the principles of the Law of Moses or some sort of self-man-made ideologies which are demonically; politically or philosophically induced. They know nothing but retaliation at every slightest provocation. They are of the world of darkness. They see no light whatsoever. No wonder, God declared from the beginning, ‘LET THERE BE LGHT’ and there was light (Gen. 1:3). The truth is always seen and found in the light of Christ the Son of God who shines in those who believe in Him. (Mt 4:16; Lu 1:79;
Jn. 1:4; Jn 1:9; Jn. 8:12)

No matter how much concerted effort you put in reconciling the true Christian with an unbeliever; you will not achieve the required results, because you are dealing with someone whose understanding of love and forgiveness is limited or constrained to religious laws and man-made methods, feelings and emotions and not the Christ-like approach. 2Co 6:14-16
Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? And what communion hath light with darkness? And what concord hath Christ with Belial? Or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? For ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.

CHURCH FELLOWSHIP

The truth of the so much talk about fellowship in churches today is all about the communion of the Holy Spirit in every believer in Christ Jesus! Should there be defiances, demonic influences must be in full manipulation! Get rid of it now in Jesus Name...

The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God and the Communion of the Holy Spirit be with you now and Forevermore. Amen!

THE BELIEVER'S MINISTRY ...cont'd

It had become mandatory to deal with a problem that had kept many Christians redundant, lukewarm or entirely idle. This is the mentality of thinking that strict Christ-likeness; the very ministry of Jesus; preaching, teaching, healing the sick, and so on is left to some special ministers only.

This is never the way the Lord intended it to be carried out.  “Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular.” (1Cor 12:27). As members of the body of Christ, none of us should be exempted in this wonderful stewardship privilege.

 “And God hath set some in the church, first apostles, secondarily prophets, thirdly teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, diversities of tongues.” (1Cor 12:28)

What are all these responsibilities about? “Even so ye, forasmuch as ye are zealous of spiritual gifts, seek that ye may excel to the edifying of the church.” (1Cor 14:12) 

Edifying the church is all about advancing God’s kingdom and His righteousness here on earth. And this task hangs around every believer’s neck! 

We recall a typical example of how Jesus delegated the first disciples the preaching assignment in Matthew 10. “And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand. Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give.” (verses 7,8). 

These were not ‘ordained’ men of God. They were simply followers of Jesus; obedient to His invitation to abide by His teachings. So everyone should be fully occupied by the assignment given to us by our Lord Jesus Christ!

THE BELIEVER'S MINISTRY

It is very disheartening to see many Christians living in perpetual disgrace and fear due to ignorance; lack of understanding their role of God’s purpose for their lives. The believer’s purpose is simply the practice of the life style of the Christ. Anything outside of this in Christianity is only religion. 

And many Christians still think that the Messiah came to introduce a religion, and that is why every activity in the church is considered as God’s service. This is a wrong concept of the Christian life and ministry.

If the believers must become like Jesus in everything they practice, then it is necessary to understand His ministry.   “And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.” (Mt 1:21) The Hebrew meaning of JESUS is savior. 

Therefore, the focus of the ministry of our Lord Jesus is to save us from our sins. Well, as believers, we must already know the necessity for our salvation.

As soon as we are saved, we are then called to discipleship. “…If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed…”  (Jn 8:30) 
It is expected that every believer must hold on to faith in God through Christ
Jesus. Our faith continuity implies a serious duty to carry out in obedience the teachings of our Master; hence accepting the task of becoming His disciples uninterruptedly.
