It
baffles the mind when a legitimate son wanders about when his father is still
alive and strong. It is also an irony for a father to seek his son to love and
care for him and yet the son rejects the offer by keeping the distance from the
father!
I
know many will affirm that it is sheer foolishness or even madness. This is the
behavior of many legitimate sons and daughters of God’s family or His kingdom
citizens; when God lovingly offers to preserve us as His people; many had
decided to desert Him to follow Satan!
“For
ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received
the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. The Spirit itself beareth
witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:
And
if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be
that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.” Rom 8:14-17.
Dear
Father in Heaven, overlook our foolishness and doubts; continue to transform us
so that we may not loose our place in your kingdom in Jesus’ Name...
