us therefore be zealous and exert ourselves and strive diligently to enter that
rest (of God, to know and experience it for ourselves), that no one may fall or
perish by the same kind of unbelief and disobedience (into which those in the
wilderness fell).” (Heb 4:11) AMP
Our commitment of faith to God Almighty in the years
ahead as the thrust and only condition for entering into God’s rest cannot be
overemphasized; faith must never fail us from now onwards in Jesus’ Mighty
Name! Why Rest? And
why the necessity of Faith? Take some time to read Hebrews 4:1-12. One can find
these predictions in the Words of our Lord Jesus Christ in Matthew 11:28-30
And again, as children born of God Almighty, it is
the power that accompanies this divine family tie (Jn 1:12-13); we are bound to
maintain the relationship only by the constant closeness or oneness with the
Holy Ghost (Jn 3:3-8; 1Cor 12); and this oneness also with Christ Jesus shall
be sealed by His love which transcends to an uncompromising commitment to
remain His true disciples (Lk 11:26-27, 33).
Having faith in the reign of God on earth is a sure
way of finding rest from all human toils! Until we can believe with the whole of
our beings that we have no legitimate and reliable King on earth except GOD
ALMIGHTY in heaven, we can never depart from struggles and wars both within and
without! (1Cor 2:5) Also Read the whole chapter and other Kingdom passages in
the Bible!
THE
CENTRE AND VOLUNTEERS
We will need workers in the following areas:
1. The Office Steward 2. The Facility Steward 3. The
Evangelism Coordinating Steward 4. The Prayer and Intercessory Steward. 5.
Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly and Periodic Programs Stewards. There will be room for various aspects of stewardship
for the brethren to participate in enforcing God’s Government in the ministry
eg continued development and updating the website: www.boilingpointgospelcentre.org; facebook and other internet activities. Stewardship Consultations, once a Fortnight.
Other
commitments of the Ministry in the areas of caring for the poor and needy
(widows, orphans drug/alcohol addicts etc); the Kingdom Business; the
Scholarship Scheme and missions to nations are receiving a great boost as we
rely on His grace to lift us to the ultimate level of the greater works of
Jesus Christ!
FAITH
COMES BY HEARING
Although we do evangelize as it is the usual duty
for every Church or Ministry; our specific focus had been on restoring the
believers’ love back to God’s WORD; the Bible. Over the years, we have received
several confirmations and testimonies about the ministry of the Bible via the continued
broadcast of its audio version to the public.
Amazingly, God had kept it going in spite of the
challenges poised by the enemies of TRUTH whom the majority seems to be coming
from the house or community of faith! But, Hallelujah victory had remained very
tremendous!
Today, we give God the glory, thousands of Bible
materials had gone into many hands in Nigeria and abroad. We appreciate the
submission of the Bible Society of Nigeria, the Bible League, Great Commission
of Nigeria, the Emmaus, Oasis Distribution etc and especially the World Mission
who had made our Faith Comes by Hearing outreaches a huge success!
Friends and Partners in the ministry had played
tremendous role by prayer, financial, material and participatory supports; you
are very much appreciated; we believe you shall certainly be rewarded by God in
Jesus’ Name!
We are using this opportunity to announce that these
materials of the Audio Bible are available on CDs, DVDs, MP3 Digital
Collections, and the Treasure Solar Powered Devise. You can affordably obtain
them from any of our Mobile Evangelists or in our office.
THE CLOSETS
Since the inception of the Ministry, prayer had been
a major activity that had given birth to the giant strides God Almighty had
granted to us. So the CLOSETS; these are the prayer Rooms that had freely
accommodated several prayer groups and individuals; and many had testified to
the great works accomplished as a result of waiting on the Lord!
It has become necessary to update the policy of
using the facility.
a) Intended
users must apply notifying the ministry two weeks to the program.
b) Students will pay N250 per head; and others will pay N350 per head per
day.
c) Half of
the payment should be made one week to the program.
These will
not hinder any ministry, group or individuals from making any donation for the
upkeep of the Centre. There are other instructions that will be given when
participants arrive at the Centre.
GLOBAL KINGDOM NETWORK
In our small or local community of faith, it had
been laid on us to encourage a formation of a Global Kingdom Network. A number
of ministries are working together to ensure that the dream is fashioned out
with an evangelistic focus which will create the wider consciousness of
actualizing God’s Government on earth by
stirring up a great revival in the body of Christ Jesus. Presently on the list
are: Evangelical Love Ministry, Jalingo, Taraba State; Christ Agape Power Ministry, Akwanga, Nasarawa State, The Will of Ministry, Sum, Bauchi State, just to mention a few.
The next State of Assignment is Taraba, and Adamawa State may also constitute an
extension. We are likely to have about three or more major programs in a year.
