Beyond Political Rule

We are not called to talk about world governments, neither are we sent into the world to criticize them; we are never human right activists to defend the oppressed found under a dictatorship or tyranny.

God’s people are able to fit into every system of world governments because of the divine disposition they live and operate under. When we strictly observe and do what we are instructed, the world will surely look up to us in Jesus' Name...

Daniel, one of the Jewish youth, once found under a Babylonian rule that enslaved them. He is a typical illustration of what God’s people should stand for under all circumstances.

When Daniel's attention was sought for to participate in the government he was subject under by ordinary human arrangement (Dan 1:8); being sensitive to the rule of God over his life, he stood his ground.

Even if this position was to send Daniel into the lions’ den (Dan 2:16); he never compromised his faith in the God his life was obedient to and dependent on; and finally, his distinguished status drew the regime of his time to God Almighty (Dan 2:25-28).

Enough of Fighting Wrong Battles

It’s quite amazing to see ‘christians’ still fighting the wrong battles, when our Lord had explicitly taught us that our warfare is never canal but against spiritual entities (2Co 10:4).

We will only maintain our victory as Christians when we insist to hold on to faith through unfeigned prayer lifestyles; we ought to shun or resist fear and refuse to walk by sight (2Co 5:7).

When love is at the forefront, hatred and bitterness are buried and covered by true forgiveness… (Rom 13:10).

Where else can we obtain the whole armor for the right battles except from God through Christ Jesus by the power of His Spirit? (Eph 6:10-18)

Shall we ever succeed with the same weapons the devil uses against us? I mean, shall we overcome by similar retaliatory or defensive approaches the enemy uses to attack us? Jn 18:36 -

Please, if we are to follow the example the Lord handed over to us, then we must be filled with the Holy Spirit who is God’s inevitable and unconquerable agent of power and authority with us… For we are more than conquerors through Him who is our strength! (Rom 8:37)
