The present day church must learn from the ministry of Christ Jesus who is our object of Truth and emulation.
Whenever and wherever Christ preached, He was open to the reaction of His audience. The public listened to His Teaching and reacted in different ways based on motives, curiosity and or heart desires.
For example, Philip interrupted Jesus, "Show us the Father and we will be okay!"
(John 14:8)
In many references of the four Gospels, Christ's Teaching was interrupted by the Jewish leaders on His observations for or against the law of Moses. This was an opportunity for Him to explain things that concern the New Covenant which was His mandate for mankind from Above.
So also, today's churches and ministries should stop the one man show of fellowship. Let the whole congregation participate in the sessions of preaching even when the preachers stand by the pulpits.
By the Holy Spirit’s anointing over every believer, no one has the monopoly of God’s power. Let the church service becomes an avenue for fellowship interaction to edify each other.
