Rom
8:14 “For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.”
Rom
8:16 “The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the
children of God...”
Take
note of the phrases; “...sons of God,” and “...children of God.” How can one be
born of God and behave human? How can we be in the family of Heaven and still
insist on the earthly?
As
long as we have got an inheritance from God; our major preoccupation will
insist on the supernatural and not the formal and normal; we must incline to the unusual and not
the usual; the uncommon and never the common.
Oh
Lord, help our spiritual consciousness to remain heavenly in Jesus’ Name...
