NO CAUSE FOR ALARM

The worship Band of Hosanna Church in Niamey, the Republic of Niger comprising of the Buzayes, Fulani, Hausa, and other tribes.  

From the look of things, one may quickly conclude that the enemies of our souls are on the winning side. That is seeing it at the perspective of the carnal mind. But by the view of the realm of God, the devil is actually passing through the toughest moments of his wickedness.

Faith in God Almighty is our boasting ground. As we continue to believe prayerfully, the Words of our Lord Jesus Christ will continue to be confirmed in our lives and ministries.

John 12:31 "Now is the judgment of this world; now the ruler of this world will be cast out.”

John 14:30 "I will no longer talk much with you, for the ruler of this world is coming, and he has nothing in Me.”

Jesus continued to confess His deliberate power and victory over Satan; gave assurance of His Spirit’s conviction of judgment; John 16:11 "of judgment, because the ruler of this world is judged.”

And the seventy returned from their outreach; they were testifying with enthusiasm of victory over the demons. Jesus said in Luke 10:18-19,  

“And He said to them, "I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven. "Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.”

The above references are obvious indications of the believers’ continued victory over the activities of the devil. We are already equipped by the use of our confession to keep the devil mute when he confronts us or our loved ones with all his wicked vices of sicknesses, bondage of sinful and rebellious tendencies, unbelief and fear…  

THE PERSECUTED CHURCH

The church must never remain silent concerning believers that are being persecuted in many parts of the world. This is found in all heathen nations of the world. Where ever faith in God through Christ Jesus is denied is considered heathen.

It is open reality that Christians all over the world must be awakened to their intercessory responsibility. When prayer becomes increasingly toughened the weapons of darkness are weakened!

In prayers believers assume the position of judges against the constituted councils of demons that are responsible for hatred and resistance against the truth that is in Christ Jesus. We announce decrees that always overthrow the wicked plans of the kingdom of darkness.

Recently, in the ministry where I am overseer, we made decrees; one of them was declaration that the persecutors of Christ Jesus all over the world should have lightening encounters from Him like it happened to Saul on his way to persecute the Christians in Damascus.

OH LORD DELIVER US

I cannot but keep on expressing what I believe to be God’s voice almost on a constant basis. I can hear Him with every certainty in the prophecy of Malachi 1:6; 

“A son honors his father, And a servant his master. If then I am the Father, Where is My honor? And if I am a Master, Where is My reverence? Says the LORD of hosts To you priests who despise My name. Yet you say, 'In what way have we despised Your name…”

How can God’s people continue to dwell in the state of rebellion against Him by putting much confidence in His own creation than the Creator Himself? How can a father be happy when children of his household and bosom disregard his fatherly position and role?

We all had trusted in man’s ability than in God’s integrity and power to bless, save, heal, set free from all form of evil. This is nothing but a betraying attitude towards God.

How can birds of the air, lilies of the valley, fishes under the sea etc rely on God and live a fruitful life; while His people created in His image and likeness find it hard to apply such confidence and even greater faith towards Him!

Oh Lord, deliver us from this chaotic and a continued rebellious approach to life devoid of Your power by the Holy Spirit in Jesus’ Name!

SOUL WINNING FOCUS

The focal point of God’s mission to the world is the creation of humanity intended to involve us into His Kingdom administration here on earth. This was distorted by rebellion or sin by Adam and Eve; the spillover is still our predicament.

God is never a failure in His eternal and Kingdom plan. The coming of Jesus Christ into this world represented God’s eternal love which initially informed His concept of making human beings in His image and likeness.

God can never give up on what He did that was very good to Him. We are the best of God’s creation; He will do everything within His loving and gracious disposal to save us from Satan’s disastrous intents of stealing, killing and destruction.

The Church had taken over from our Lord Jesus Christ the task of fulfilling God’s deepest heart plan; the salvation of souls from darkness to His Light, and from Satan’s power to God’s power.

The Church’s priority assignment had remained soul winning right from the fall till today. Every ministry, whether individual or cooperate, all had been engaged into winning people or drawing them unto God and His Kingdom both here on earth and in heaven.

Every approach applied to God’s work must be intended for soul winning and nothing else. But unfortunately, many had lost sight of this now. We can see many fallen very deep inside the ditch of deception; serving tables, material things and simply engaging in worldly fun fare and totally despising God’s mission for humanity.

There is need for a total overhaul of the system and a consistent heart cry for revival in the Body in Jesus’ Name. Amen!        

THE PRAYER FOCUS

The Lord Jesus frowns at every Christian commitment that had been adulterated or altered by carnal motivations. We are talking about the misplacement of priority in the ministry.

“Then He taught, saying to them, "Is it not written, 'My house shall be called a house of prayer for all nations'? But you have made it a 'den of thieves.'" (Mark 11:17)

If ministry must be according to the will of God, faith must be the uttermost leading priority. Faith can never work except love commands the direction into the central point of God’s heart.

We will always act ignorantly and rebelliously of the truth when self rules than the Spirit of God.  We live in an era where people’s opinions are highly regarded than the Bible. It takes a radical commitment to the Word of God for obedience to reign in the believers’ service.

Prayer is the only Christian service that conquers in the midst of diversionary temptations. When you do not pray, the flesh will certainly turn the temple into a commercial centre; hence making it a commodity for sale.

God does not require some sort of assistance or fund raising in running His Kingdom enterprise. Resources are already abundantly intact for productive ministry. Simply keep up the prayer momentum as a guiding rule with an aim of pleasing God and all will work out well!
