Today
we have many people who claim to have been called into the ministry; some as
pastors, apostles, teachers, prophets, evangelists and other aspects of
Christian callings not indicated in the fivefold ministry of the Holy Spirit
above.
Crucially,
this heart driven question must be answered. Who called them? Was it God by the
power of the Holy Ghost and in Jesus’ Name? Or was it just denominational and
doctrinal inclinations that prompted their call?
If
it were God truly by His consecration and ordination; this arrangement would
have been greatly productive or result oriented than what we experience in our
churches today!
It
is sympathetic to have a church that portrays a little or nothing of Christ-likeness
today. We hardly trust in God’s power to heal the sick, cast out demons, cleanse
the lepers, open blind eyes, or perform the miracles that make the dumb speak,
and deaf hear and even to raise the dead etc!
Much
of the Christians’ confidence relies on the wisdom of the world than in the
Holy Spirit’s anointing for power to win souls and to set the captives and
oppressed free from Satan’s bondage of all kinds.
Jesus
Christ never ran a rehabilitation center; He did not refer any physically
challenged or ailed persons or other problems of life to any human expert to
handle or treat. He simply ordered the demons responsible for these afflictions
to instantly depart and never to come back and they obeyed!
Oh
Lord, help me as the minister of Your Kingdom to practice this work in the
reality of faith and power for the required testimonies that must glorify God by
Your Spirit in Jesus’ Mighty Name!
