The
Lord Jesus frowns at every Christian commitment that had been adulterated or
altered by carnal motivations. We are talking about the misplacement of
priority in the ministry.
“Then
He taught, saying to them, "Is it not written, 'My house shall be called a
house of prayer for all nations'? But you have made it a 'den of
thieves.'" (Mark 11:17)
If
ministry must be according to the will of God, faith must be the uttermost
leading priority. Faith can never work except love commands the direction into
the central point of God’s heart.
We
will always act ignorantly and rebelliously of the truth when self rules than
the Spirit of God. We live in an era
where people’s opinions are highly regarded than the Bible. It takes a radical
commitment to the Word of God for obedience to reign in the believers’ service.
Prayer is the only Christian service that conquers
in the midst of diversionary temptations. When you do not pray, the flesh will
certainly turn the temple into a commercial centre; hence making it a commodity
for sale.
God
does not require some sort of assistance or fund raising in running His Kingdom
enterprise. Resources are already abundantly intact for productive ministry.
Simply keep up the prayer momentum as a guiding rule with an aim of pleasing
God and all will work out well!
