THE REBELLIOUS SPIRIT

The devil or Satan is the root cause and architect of rebellion. He rebelled against God originally and right at heavenly realms. Isaiah 14:14 I will ascend above the heights of the clouds, I will be like the Most High.'   Genesis 3:4 Then the serpent said to the woman, "You will not surely die.

The human race became a victim of these wicked satanic deceptive and rebellious influences. In the entire history of humanity, the devil had ruled over all who disobeyed God regardless of whatever background.

Once a people are ignorant of God Almighty, they may never find direction in life but remain subject to a false orientation. That was the story of every ethnic group, ancestral and generational backgrounds of all languages and nations.

The Ishmaelites became the victim of the same rebellion found in the people who would have set a good example; Abraham and Sarah are to blame; they did not strictly keep watch over the word regarding the promised child. No wonder, the Lord had pity over Hagar and her son. Gen 16&21.

Truly, the rebellious spirit hovers over all individuals, families, people, and nations. But the Holy Spirit also does not show partiality; He was and still is favorable to the Jews and Gentiles alike.

We have the descendants of Ishmael today who are wonderful 

Kingdom citizens just like the Jewish and also of the heathen backgrounds.

Let the church without wrinkle, blemish and spot arise to defend and maintain the course of righteousness; and let the mentality of insistent devotion continue; the world will soon be fully occupied by the sons of God; and this will bring eternal relief and succor to God’s groaning creation. (Rom 8:19-22)               

MONEY MOTIVATED MINISTRY

Jesus warned believers in John 6:27 "Do not labor for the food which perishes, but for the food which endures to everlasting life, which the Son of Man will give you, because God the Father has set His seal on Him."

The motivational force of many ministers of the gospel is monetary and or material than strictly spiritual or Christ-like. It is a pity that the man of God cannot confide on God by faith to cater for his needs while on the Master’s serious duty.  

It is impossible to be fully committed to healing the broken hearted, casting out demons, cleansing the lepers and raising the dead etc for the salvation of souls with the mustard seed faith that pleases God and by the Holy Ghost that He will just ignore such devotion.

The truth is, nobody has the money or any kind of incentive that can drive God’s ordained to selfless ministry sacrifice. 

The moment someone waits for another man to pay him a salary in God’s service; it is no more God’s work. “He who pays the piper dictates the tune.” You are only imitating someone’s calling and serving the belly and never God! This is another world government in disguise!

Young ministers, I plead with you in the Name of Jesus Christ; do not fall into the trap of money motivated ministry. The Master is waiting for you to have absolute confidence in His ministry supplies from the inexhaustible heavenly store houses… “…according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.”

Carefully and prayerfully study Matthew 20:1-16. It is either God that motivates or money. It is either God that recruits or money that employs! Just be careful, young man!

PARASITIC HAVOC

Do not hang over someone’s neck for so long; the longer one’s dependence on an earthly mentor; the gradual the diminishing of the mentor’s status; and faster the parasitic loses its true identity.  

I have seen trees affected by parasitic plants, with time, both the original tree and the parasitic plant end up and turn into total worthlessness.

We must learn to resist the temptation of allowing people to hang around us for too long. During the earthly ministry of Jesus, He would always dismiss the people to go while He got to some solitary places to pray. Certainly, many who walk so close to Him must have learnt the mystery of deliberate isolation and the benefits that goes with it.

Learn to help people discover their true originality in God the Father through Christ and by the Holy Ghost’s anointing!        

THE NO. 1 CHRISTIAN

THE ZEAL OF THE HOUSE OF GOD...

Can the Christian faith be categorized? Who is the best or the most faithful believer? Can Christianity be weighed on a scale?

Many people think they are worthy stewards of God for doing some good works; caring for the needy, giving large sums of money to ministries or helping charitable organizations, singing in a church band or choir, offering voluntary security and other worthy services in the church, participating in the church’s missionary, evangelistic and or administrative commitments and so on and so forth.

Doing all these and many more does not necessarily qualify one to be worthy of God’s approved Kingdom service. There are people God is concerned about and approves of their services. They are known by their serious and consistent observance of the great commandment; 'You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind' says the Lord Jesus in Matthew 22:37.

True stewardship is found in loving God without compromise. Every divided loyalty is never accepted in God’s kingdom. It is a commitment that seeks to please God for a life time through eternity!

David is a good example of people who loved God. He made an only and the most costly decision in life and said;

“One thing I have desired of the LORD, That will I seek: That I may dwell in the house of the LORD All the days of my life, To behold the beauty of the LORD, And to inquire in His temple.” (Psalms 27:4)

KINGDOM EQUALITY

In God’s Kingdom no one lacks; there should be no poverty stricken in the community of faith people. The Kingdom citizens live the life of sharing; where we have two, one should belong to the one who has none.

In this heavenly inclined kingdom no one lords it over the other. That is why Jesus said, we should not refer to one another as teachers, fathers and masters; all of these, we have One, He is in heaven.

Our duty and joy to lead others lies in our devotion to serve them. This is where politics is far from or devoid of righteousness; the world governments only represent the devil’s instruments of darkness advancement.

Until our Christian responsibility for one another takes after our Lord’s character, we are only satan’s agents of stealing, killing and destruction. We cannot be in the true church system and refuse to love one another by sharing our substances with them.

How much have you all your life spent on the widows, orphans, destitute, the cripple, blind, the poor and the like? Have you done so in selfless love or with pride and arrogance only to seek for men’s approval than that of God?

What will you do with the estates and or properties spread all over places after this life is finally over? Your sons and daughters may never want to inherit you; and certainly you cannot be buried with your wealth. Please, let God’s perfect will be accomplished by your accumulated riches.
