MARRIAGE @ 40

BROTHER MATTHEW AND SISTER RIFKATU ARIN ADAMS' 40TH MARRIAGE  ANNIVERSARY.

One wonders why many marriages hit the rock of failure to the degree and disgrace of divorce. The devil is so particular about and strategic in causing heartbreaks and disasters in marriages as a result of wrong approaches to the institution.

The family will remain the greatest threat to the kingdom of darkness when the principles of God’s Kingdom are strictly observed!

Once the family finds stability by an enduring spiritual commitment of faith and love according to scriptures; the enemy hardly finds loopholes to strike in the relationship.

Every family that had discovered the secret of relying on God Almighty for every detail of life will remain constant in trusting Him to meet every need including crucial issues that could cause hatred, bitterness, and un-forgiveness.         

Challenges and a host of trials will always visit families, but a praying head of the family will never lack the wisdom from the Holy Spirit to handle them.

Eph 5:23 “For the husband is head of the wife, as also Christ is head of the church; and He is the Savior of the body.”

Therefore, the head of the family should take up the responsibility of giving very clear direction to his family. This can never be obtainable elsewhere except in the place of earnest intercession and prayer! This had been one of the secrets of successes in marriages and homes.

My wife and I owe God Almighty so much appreciation for the grace to discover this secret for the past forty years of our home building in marriage. The favor had been accompanied by six children and now eight grand children; but much more, our spiritual life had developed into an assured heavenly worth destiny.  

We pray for all families in the world that need reconciliation, peace, joy, comfort etc but much more, a highly spiritually oriented focus for the journey ahead in Jesus’ Name!
