“Now in the morning, having
risen a long while before daylight, He went out and departed to a solitary
place; and there He prayed. And Simon and those who were with Him searched for
Him.
When they found Him, they said
to Him, "Everyone is looking for You. But He said to them, "Let us go
into the next towns, that I may preach there also, because for this purpose I
have come forth.” (Mk 1:35-38)
If they would search for you;
where will you be found? What is your driving desire in life? Who do you seek
to please; is it God or another human being or an ungodly pursuit?
Can we ever get an example to
follow like the focused determination in the ministry of our Lord Jesus Christ?
May the Christians of this generation give up selfish motives in serving God to
embrace the Christ-like approach? AMEN!
