November 20 declares “Woe to the rebellious children…, who take counsel, but not of me; and who devise plans, but not of my Spirit, that they may add sin to sin”. (Is 30:1)
The Holy Spirit in the Bible – ISAIAH
11:2 “The Spirit of the Lord shall rest upon Him (the Messiah), the Spirit of wisdom and understanding, the Spirit of counsel and might, the Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord.” Isaiah’s prophesy by the Holy Spirit was about Christ the King. Its fulfillment can never be disputed in the Spirit-filled believers!
Isaiah 30:1 “Woe to the rebellious children…, who take counsel, but not of me; and who devise plans, but not of my Spirit, that they may add sin to sin”. Every plan made and executed without the Spirits initial involvement stands to be regretted. Let us not keep Him out of our plans. We must always remember to ask, ‘what is the Lord saying?' before we embark on a project!
Isaiah 32:15 “Until the spirit is poured upon us from on high, and the wilderness becomes a fruitful field. And the fruitful field is counted as a forest.”
What supernatural undertaking by the Holy Spirit.
When we seem to run out of
hope in every regard once the Spirit of God comes upon us, the situation must change for us, until we “show His strength to this generation and His power to everyone that is to come” (Ps. 71:18).
