THE PURPOSE OF LIFE

Be encouraged to read this booklet on this link. Your entire life will find direction to God's call...

CHAPTER ONE
PURPOSEFUL MINISTRY
There must be a deliberate emphasis on creating awareness (not to continue with an attitude of making people look or behave like us), but to make people take a close look at their Creator — GOD, with a clear purpose of knowing Him and His eternal or original plan for each of us.

This means, that individuals, families, communities, and nations were originally created or made for distinct purposes and intentions. God does not engage on haphazard plans about His entire creation. Everything He made was decisively intended to achieve an eternal mission for His glory.

And every one of us is expected to be instrumental to the fulfillment of divine purpose. “For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them” (Eph 2:10);
For Additional Reading: Gen 1:26; De. 32:6; Ps 100:3; Is 19:25; 29:23; 44:21; Jn. 3:3,5; 1Cor3:9;2Co5:5,17;Eph1:4;4:24;Tit 2:14.

In general terms, according to Genesis 1:26, God made man for the purpose of taking absolute charge of His wonderful creation; “Then God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth “(Gen 1:28). And throughout the long history of humanity, His plan for mankind to accomplish this purpose had remained His focus.

This was conclusively perfected in His Son Jesus Christ. John the beloved in his testimony about the Lord Jesus clearly stated;“He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil. “(1Jn.3:8)

The purpose for which the Son of God was manifested is to destroy the works of Satan; whose wicked plan had remained the aversion and distortion of man’s focus from his Creator. In other words, Jesus came to rule or exert authority over Satan and his wicked reign or kingdom over God’s creation. The Lord Jesus Himself at the concluding part of His earthly ministry declared to the Father; “I have glorified You on the earth. I have finished he work which You have given Me to do."

 John 17:4. From our study of this scripture, it is evident that the Lord did what the Father had purposed for His life and ministry on earth. And He in turn handed over to the believers the task of God’s kingdom expansion. “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father." (Jn. 14:12).
