The
story of the prodigal son in the Bible represents the believers who were to
enjoy their inheritance while in their heavenly Father’s confinements. The
presence of the Lord is the best place of abode where faith does not faint.
How
can we have God Almighty represented and residing in our earthen vessels and
still be venturing into waywardness? How can we have all provisions or
necessary supplies at our disposals and keep staggering in competing with the
world over peanuts?
When
will the church of Jesus Christ receive the required deep insights into our
Father’s mysteries meant for our earthly and eternal sustenance? When will the
seemingly endless roistering about into vain labors; a behavior that does not
even impress the world let alone God Almighty Himself?
Have
we not by now realized that our very long stay and feeding in the piggery of
the devil should come to an end? Does this not call for a HOME return? Can we
not deliberately and boldly return to God even if we will be regarded odd
amongst our peers; or even because of our faith be denied our legitimate rights
in the world systems?
Thank
you Lord God Almighty for this great reminder by the Holy Spirit; here we are
at the feet of your mercy; restore us to our everlasting inheritances meet for
our earthly joy and for your glory now and forevermore in Jesus’ Name. AMEN!
