TWO KINDS OF DEPARTURES

The way funerals are treated today shows clearly that there is a departure from a Spiritual concept to a heathen culture. I believe that our faith in Christ Jesus can supernaturally carry us swiftly to the new heaven at the point of departure from this earth.

Let us consider a Biblical episode; the story of Lazarus and the rich man in Luke 16:22,23 says, “So it was that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels to Abraham's bosom. The rich man also died and was buried. And being in torments in Hades, he lifted up his eyes and saw Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.”

See this? “...the beggar died, and was carried by the angels to Abraham's bosom...” In state of the ‘beggar,’ we can say the ‘believer.’ Well, that is how it goes with faith people at the point leaving this world.

For the unbelievers, “...The rich man also died and was buried. And being in torments in Hades...” You see, these are the people that are falsely and mockingly elevated at burials. So you can see what many do in rebellion against the Bible?     

What can we do now? Simply obey God! Jesus said to someone who rebelled against His invitation; “...Follow me; and let the dead bury their dead.” Mt 8:22. And Luke 9:60 says, “...Let the dead bury their dead: but go thou and preach the kingdom of God.” When you go to bury someone instate of raising them, it implies you are dead too!

You judge for yourself; maybe you need to give a second thought to that passion for death and free from it in Jesus’ Name...
