RELIGIOUS CHRISTIANITY

Many people term Christianity as a religion; but far from it, Christ Jesus with whom Christianity is tagged as the Way, Truth and Life should never be termed religious. He represents a spiritual entity from God Almighty; He is God’s eternal covenant fulfilled in the redemptive work of the whole world. This is never a religion!

Unfortunately, many who profess to be Christians behave religiously.

2Tim 3:5 “…having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away!”

As long as God’s Spirit does not occupy one’s Christian outlook, His power will be lacking in such commitment; and so a religious tendency sets in.

Titus 1:16 “They profess to know God, but in works they deny Him, being abominable, disobedient, and disqualified for every good work.”

The knowledge of God produced by human effort ends up in hypocrisy; which is a religious deadly disease which had laid many church people on sick bays. This is what had caused the listing of Christianity as another world‘s religion!

Never call Christ a religion. No religion performs signs and wonders; heals the sick; casts out demons; sets the captives free and raises the dead! 

Religious groups rely on demonic powers to perform magic, sorcery, divination and the like, but these cannot be compared to the miracles of our Lord Jesus Christ!    

I was once a drug addict, I was freed by the wonder working Christ, I belonged to a local church which was helpless about my case!

Oh Lord God, deliver Your people from a Religious Christianity!
