WORSHIPING DEATH?

It is amazing that funerals had become a much pronounced program of activity in many churches today. People had been orientated to celebrate death than life. What the Lord God detested most is what is the people would always want to do. (John 10:10)
The Jesus Christ I follow visited homes of the bereaved only to raise their dead (Matthew 9:23-25; John 11). The Apostles also took to the footsteps of our Lord Jesus; they raised the dead (Acts 9:36-42; 20:9-12).
The Lord Jesus again set the standard for the Kingdom advancement ministry when He sent His disciples; He clearly ordered them:
Matthew 10:7-8 “And as you go, preach, saying, 'The kingdom of heaven is at hand. Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons. Freely you have received, freely give.”
Jesus invited someone to follow Him; his excuse was that he needed to go and bury his father. The Lord’s answer may be offensive to many today, "…Let the dead bury their own dead, but you go and preach the kingdom of God."
Many do argue that miracles ended at the time of the Apostles. There is no such thing in the Bible. As long as church workers will not submit to the truth and commit their ministries totally to God for His right Hand of power to be made manifest by signs and wonders, every problem will frighten them; and faith will certainly fail!
Since the church had failed to obey the Lord so that they can receive the grace for the miraculous, the devil will always provide work for the idle.
When people are sick, they do not intensify publicity for prayers for divine healing; but as soon as the person dies, you see obituaries on phones, emails, facebook, radio, TV, handbills etc. Why are these things never done when the person lay on the sick bed? Think about this. What is your comment?
