There are dead
testimonies and there are living ones. All testimonies that do not have any spiritual
and eternal value and significance are false and dead.
Many are applauded
for testifying of buying new cars, building a house, having a breakthrough in
business, successful completion of a professional course, getting married etc.
But as long as such testimonies do not match in proportion with God’s purpose,
then it deserves no admiration at all.
Until one’s achievement
is ploughed back to strict God’s Kingdom assignment, it is too early to call it
a testimony. A living testimony ought to bring sure glory to God in the areas
of preaching the good tidings to the poor, heal the sick and afflicted, open
the blind eyes, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead for the salvation of souls.
Personally, I am
trusting God to give me a life spectacle to testify to His glory. My confidence
lies on His grace, love and the communion of His Spirit to engage me in the
extra ordinary work of His Kingdom far above what the world claim to offer!
