IN THE MASTER’S JUNGLE

Matthew 10:3 “Go your way; behold, I send you out as lambs among wolves.”

The world is God’s jungle where Christians are sent to hunt for and rescue the lost sheep (Mt 12:11). The jungle is the abode of all kinds of beasts. The hunter must therefore put on the whole armor of God for adequate protection. (Eph 6:11-18)

The Master warned His stewards to be cautious of masqueraded wolves in the jungle. They appear to be trustworthy counterparts on the field, but they are only disguised in sheep clothing.

Matthew 7:15 "Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves.”

In the Master’s hunt business, walking in the Spirit is the upmost strategy for success. Carnal hunting apparatus do not prevail over the spiritual forces of darkness.

Pastors and other God’s workers should never rely on Bible knowledge without the accompanied power of the Holy Spirit. Theological knowledge without God’s right hand of power is a sling without a stone in it; it will not hit the beast that attacks the sheep.

As hunters in the jungle occupied with ravenous beasts of wickedness; we are well armed to block internet nudity; frustrate the activities of the dark world that exult themselves against the knowledge of God. We are than ever before fiercely determined by the all sufficiency of God’s grace to wait on Him in prayer and fasting; and remain seated with Him at the right hand side of God, until our enemies are made our footstool.
