STRANGE WAY OF PRAYER

All religions have a strange way of prayer. Incantations and or enchantments are common to many of them. These they apply to invoke spirits or demons to respond to petitions. It is clear that they are only connected to the devil who rules over evil spirits and the host of the agents of the kingdom of darkness.

For Christians who truly embrace the teaching of the Bible without questioning; they accept the gift of tongues by the Holy Spirit as the strange way to communicate with God.

  1Cor 14:2 “For he that speaketh in an unknown tongue speaketh not unto men, but unto God: for no man understandeth him; howbeit in the spirit he speaketh mysteries.” KJV

What a privilege for me to have access to talk to my Father uninterrupted; of course no one understands what I am speaking, only God does. And more so, this conversation is mysterious. No man and no devil can comprehend our spiritual speech transaction; and therefore it is certainly a consequential utterance. There must be definite accompanied results to the glory of God!

 1Cor 14:4 “He that speaketh in an unknown tongue edifieth himself; but he that prophesieth edifieth the church.”     

The sanctified tongue, either in speaking in tongues or in prophecy, both of them edifies the speaker and the entire body of Christ.

This strange prayer language is what the devil is using to cause controversy in the church today; he knows there is a mystery involved that can cripple wicked activities in the whole world.

Paul gave thanks to God for it;  1Cor 14:18 “I thank my God, I speak with tongues more than ye all”
