God’s non-human
living world live freely; they feed and clothe by divine provision. The animal
world does not organize meetings to discuss about their survival. Their
existence is tied to faith than fate as we have always thought. I believe God
placed in them an intuitive ability to trust Him without sense knowledge.
Jesus Christ described
it this way; Matt 6:26-31
26
Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns,
and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than
they? 27 Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life?
28
"And why do you worry about clothes? See how the lilies of the field grow.
They do not labor or spin. 29 Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his
splendor was dressed like one of these. 30 If that is how God clothes the grass
of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he
not much more clothe you, O you of little faith?
NIV
What does the Lord
wants us to do by this admonition? I have learned to apply the word of God
literally. I believe He is saying we should learn a lesson from the animal
world.
Waiting on the Lord
is the demand placed on believers for every life’s provision. The world (pagans
vs 32) in its usual ordinary life struggles had intimidated us with this wrong lifestyle.
But for us
Christians, we are to seek for the Kingdom of God and His righteousness as a
priority, and there lies the secret of divine supply for every aspect of life.
